M. Price Distributing Co. was founded in September 1933 by Melvin Price and is now a third generation family business. The privately held company is a beverage distributor of products including beer, energy drinks, soda and water. Located in Hampton
Virginia, M. Price Distributing Co.'s territory encompasses the Southeast Virginia cities of Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg and Poquoson and the Counties of James City, York, Gloucester and Mathews.
M Price services over 500 on-premise and more than 400 off-premise accounts with 110 valued employees.
M. Price Distributing Co. remained an exclusive Anheuser-Busch wholesaler until February of 2009, when they acquired both Legendary Distributing and MicroSource Beverage Co., two well established craft wholesalers in
their territory. M. Price is fully committed to the growth of the craft segment through dedication, education and an infallible supply chain of only the highest quality brands available. In addition to craft beers, M. Price Distributing has also
acquired distribution rights to several non-alcoholic brands over the past few years. With brands such as Monster, Fiji, Nesquik, Honest Tea, Icelandic and Skinny Water in
their portfolio, they now offer beverages in every category.
